Would, Should, Must and Could

     Would = Passado Pretérito (ria); Passado de will.  

Examples: I will sleep early. (Future Tense)

If I didn’t watch TV, I would sleep early. (Past tense)

I would help you, if I had time.

Affirmative Form: Pronoun + Would + verb in the base form + complement.

Negative Form: Pronoun + Would not (wouldn’t) + verb in the base form + complement.

Interrogative form: Would + Pronoun + verb in the base form + complement?

 

      Should= para dar um conselho; deveria.

Examples: I should take car!

She shouldn’t work!

What should I do?

Must = deve; uma ordem.

Could = Poderia; Passado do verbo Can (poder); Usado para demostrar que alguém tinha habilidade para fazer algo; uma possibilade de fazer algo. ordem.

Examples: You could wait me!

You couldn’t stay  there!

Could she sleep here?

Memories of my mother

It was a time, a beautiful garden. And in this garden there was a tree named Mary. Mary liked of the birds that flight on it. Then, in a beautiful day while it was talking, it said:

-          How are you, bird? I haven’t seen you lately. Where were you?

-          I’m fine, Thank you. I was in Brazil. In the Amazon.

-          Oh, were you traveling? What did you visit in the Amazon?

-          I visited my parents.

-          I don’t know. Are you from Brazil?

-          Yes, I am. And, my mother sent to you a hug, kiss and a letter. Read!

-          Just a moment, please.

So, after three minutes, the tree read the letter that said:

Hello, tree, I miss you, but I’m far from you. Here, the life passes, like the each fall that arrives and stays for a moment.

Junior said me, a little about your city. I know all the friends you have. I know you. And I know, as much as it is big my hope of meet us. If I did something of wrong with you, sorry me. If I said you were unlucky, crazy, and unhappy. Sorry, but I didn’t know, you were and you are still this person so happy, clever, beautiful and great.

           Oh, Junior, your mother is great. I like it so much. May I call it of mother, too?

-          Of course yes! I knew your mother died. (it begins to cry) Oh, oh, no. Sorry, sorry. I didn’t want remember you.

-          Well, I know, I know.

-          Mary, I staid to knowing that today the tears are wetting you. Is it true?

-          It’s , it’s true, since my mother died, I don’t think in other thing, without be to see it here beside me. See it, with that smile and with that way of be happy.

How do I learn to speak English?

I’m a good student, but I know to do the things and hear the people when they say me: Take care, attention, you’re wrong.

When a person wants to learn English Language she/he must be strong, able to hear advices and transform them in true, transform them in knowledge.

I learn English Language of this way:

1º - I write many stories in English, when I think: “Oh, It’s not this way that I write this word”. I find to change it, and write it of the right way.

All the words I speak, I write.

2º - Listen to your teacher: When my teacher speak English with me, I forget the Portuguese Language and my problems. I just listen to her, and I listen to the way she pronounces the words. I look as she moves her mouth.

Listen to music: I always listen to music and I read the “letter of the music” to I can understand better. 

Listen to radio in English Language.

3º - Ask. I always ask something to my teacher. I ask all the doubts that show in my mind. Why does it? How can I do it? How can I write it? How do you spell it? What’s mean it?...

4º - Watch movies. Invite your friends to go to the movie theater to watch movies in English Language.  

5º - Read. Read texts and stories, the texts will help you to stay updated; the stories will help you to fell better, and learn English of a nice way. 

6º - Do all. Do the activities that your teacher asks for you.

7º - Answer. It always that your teacher asks something to you, you must answer and you must risk.  We always must know that is erring that we learn.

Well, these are the seven ways that I learn English Language, if find more I will update them.

Hi guys!

Hello guys! I was chating with "friend" asked me: How can I learn to speak English?
