My holiday

Holiday
Children’s Day
My holiday was wonderful. In the morning, I stayed at home and I read a book, I used the internet, I watched TV and I did my homework.
Like I was in my house, I just wore short and t-shirt.
My grandmother is a good cook. And she made “moqueca de peixe” to our family eat. It was delicious!
In the afternoon, I went to Tamar Project. When I arrived there, I saw many children playing and seeing the turtles. There, I gave information about the animals, I helped my friends, I showed the puppet show, I worked with the children and I spoke English with an American woman and her husband.
At 3:00, I had a snack and I ate a hamburger and I drank cajá juice.
I was very busy. But, It was good! I always liked to work with children.
In the night, I stayed at home, when my friends called me, and they said:
-          Christian, what are you doing?
-          I’m watching TV.
-          Do you want to hang out with me and Laine?
-          No, I don’t.
-          Let’s go, Christian!
-          Ok, Jorge! I will hang out with you!
-          You need hang out with your friends. It’s holiday!
-          Ok, I’m waiting for you.
Then, I hung out with my friends.  About 9:45 of the night, I came back to my home. When I arrived, I was hungry, and I didn’t find anything to I eat, but I went to the supermarket and I bought cheese and ham…
After I ate, I was sleepy, but I wasn’t still tired. So, I thought to write a text, and so, I went to my bedroom and I used the internet. I entered in my blog (http://weareenglishlearners.blogspot.com/) but I didn’t post anything. But I did a story to post it in other day.
Summarizing, my holiday was wonderful, and for all I did, I felt myself a child again.

Don't wait for anybody.

I have talked in this blog, about the because you must do your homework.  But now I will talk about works in group.
I'm  doing a English Course, and I know that it isn't a game. My English teacher passed a work to we do. And we must show it on November 3rd.
I began to do the things with some friends, but I am worried because we just have one day before the apresentation.
All this is fruit of some classmates that don't worry with themself.
So, I will give a advice to you: Don't wait for anybody if you have time to do your things. Overcome your obstacles and just do what better is.
Sometimes we wait for people that don't worry with us.
The begining and the end of your English is you.

A friendship.

Does your friend speak English?

Speak English is not very easy, but it isn't an animal of seven heads. When we a have a friend that knows to speak English, all becomes easiest. Why? Because you can practice your pronunciation, study together, exchange ideas and more.

Example:

In the last year, I taught English to my friends. They just speak Portuguese, but while I was teaching, I spoke English.
One day, when I and my friend were in the school, I asked him: “Lucas, Do you want it?” and he said: “No, I don’t. I want popcorn”.
And I said: Oh, you answered me, I thought that you didn’t know what I said. And he said in Portuguese Language: Christian, while you were teaching, I learned something. And now, I know what you said me.

Do you understand? A friendship can give you what you more need. A friendship can break yours fears, and your obstacles.

Look for a friend! And speak English!

Why don’t I learn English? What is wrong?

Many people ask themselves: Why don’t I learn English? What is wrong?
Someone that wants to learn English  must know that English is a new language to your life, and as we care our lives, we must care of our English.
Each school and course have their  way of teach. But somehow the student must look for your objetives.
  • If there are activities to do; you must do. Why? Because, you cannot know your doubts if you don't do your activities.
  • If your teacher say: - "Christian" read it!; you must read. It's necessity to your pratice your pronunciation.
  • Do you always arrive late? Never more do. You know, when we arrive late, we lose informations. It's always better arrives earliest.
  •  Do you have shame? Don't feel it. The shame will do you feel insecure to talk.
  • Don't kid in wrong moments. When you kid, you can disturb your classmates. Always think: I'm here to study and pratice my English.
  • Where do you use your knowledges of English Language? Just in the class? Don't feel arrested. Why are you learning English? The class isn't the only place you can speak English? You must feel free to enjoy what you have.
  • Time: Plan your time: What time will I study English? Where?
  •  What do you do, when you don't know the meaning and the pronunce of a word? Nothing? When you have some doubt, you must look for someone that can help you.
  • ...
Why don’t you  learn English? What is wrong with you? I know to answer these questions: many people don't learn English Language, because they stop and wait the things fell of the sky.
