Useful Phrases.


a) How are you? - Como vai você?, Como você está?

Ex: Christian, How are you? 
- I'm tired!
- Why?
- Because, I was working.
- Oh, you must relax!

b) Just a moment, please! - Um momento, por favor!

- Good morning, guys! Do I begin the class?
- (the students are singing) Well, you done done...
- Just a moment, please! There's an English Teacher, here!

c) Happy New Year! - Feliz ano novo!

 - Christian, what do you wish in this year?
- I wish a Happy New Year to everybody!

d) What’s this? - O que é isso?
- Look this picture!
- This is very beautiful!
- Oh, what’s this?
- This is a bird.


e) Where is …? - Onde está ...?

- Is there a subway station near here?
- Yes, there is.
- Where is it?
- It’s on Main Street.

f) Where are you going? Onde você está indo?

- Mom, I Have to go!
- Where are you going?
- I’m going to the club.
- Ok, See you later!

g) Where do you live? - Onde você mora/vive?

- Ok, student, now you must speak about yourself.
- Myself?
- Yes. Where do you live?
- I live in São Paulo.

h) I’m fine. Thank you! Estou bem. Obrigado!
